Title: 2 Masters at the same time?
Post by: skrable on May 06, 2012, 07:29:55 pm
Does Unimelb allow me to do two masters at the same time? As in BSc -> Master of Engineering + Master of Teaching (primary). Have not been able to find information on this topic anywhere...

I think reading from another thread that melb uni no longer has double degrees.

Regardless, i don't think unis allow you to do 2 masters at the same time, as your brain will be on overload for having to research 2 fields of study.

Yeah, you can't do two masters at a time. You would have to do the Masters of Engineering -> Dip.Ed.

Not all Masters courses are research.  There are some Masters available by coursework.

But to the topic, no.  Usually not.  Not sure what the Master of Applied Finance and Master of Econometrics offered at Monash exactly is though.

If they allow part-time study then you may be able to make an argument to do both concurrently, but if not, then no. You can't enrol in two courses full-time at the same institution (note a key point is same institution).
