Title: [Help] Number Patterns and Applications

Hey guys, I have a few questions from Chapter 4 of 'Further Mathematics Enhanced' Heinemann VCE Zone I would like some help with.


1. Find the first five terms of the sequence with t6=972, r = 3
2. Consider the sequence for which a = 6.88 and t3 = 8.3248. How many terms of the sequence need to be added so that the sum exceeds 55. I have to find r first right?
3. Find the first five terms of the sequence, given s∞ = 35 and t1 =7 (a/1-r)

I have tried all these, but am not really sure how to do them.
