Can someone explain wat this statement is trying to say
"if an object is travelling with constant acceleration ,then the average velocity of a particular section is the actual velocity of the object at mid time"

If it's constant acceleration, then the average velocity will be the velocity at the point in time halfway between when it started accelerating and when it stopped.

Let's say an object begins at 0 ms-1 and accelerates uniformly at 2ms-2 for 10 seconds;

At t = 0, v = 0 ms-1

At t = 5, v = 10 ms-1

At t = 10, v = 20 ms-1



The average velocity is equal to that of at 5 seconds, which was the velocity of the mid point with regards to time.
