Title: Iodine numbers?

Do we need to know iodine numbers for the mid-year?

I don't think you need to know it.
I have seen it come up on a neap exam (2011 i think?), but for that question you had to apply your applied knowledge on stoich.

Yeah there was one on a NEAP exam that someone in my class was doing, and the Lisachem one I'm doing now has it too, but it sorta tells you how to find the number in the question.

I've come across it a few times, but they always explain it and you just use stoich to do it :)
