Title: Are the electroencephalograph and electroencephalogram the same thing?

In the notes I'm reading the gram has the added 'in the form of brain waves'.

Electroencephalograph is the machine that prints out a electroencephalogram, that shows the electrical activity of the brain. So they're the same. I don't even think you need to know it's full name, just the acronym EEG.
