What are the pathways to get into Uom?
If there aren't any, how hard can it be to transfer from another uni to Uom?
PS: I'm aiming for BA.

There re numerous ways to transfer into melb uni. Asides from going straight in from high school using your atar. The next most popular method is to transfer in after completing a years university study at another university or another course. To do so you will need AT LEAST a 75 average to be considered (but this is the minimum standard and you should be aiming more towards an 80 to be well in the scope of consideration). You will also have to have met the minimum requirements of the prerequisite vce subjects (which i believe is only a 30 in english for arts). Be warned a 75 in uni is not a simple feat to achieve: while certainly not difficult, be prepared to have quite a bit of dicipline in your university studies.

Also, what if I choose to do TAFE to get a diploma.
Is it still possible to get into?
Will there be an extra year?

Yes a lot of students also entet university via tafe. However, I am unfamiliar with the entrance prospects of tafe students into melb uni. I myself entered melb uni after completing my 1st yr at rmit so I know the process of uni-uni transfers. That said, I do know that rmit do accept a large of their students from tafe programs. You will have to ask the student centre for specifics.
