Hey guys, could anyone please give me a run down on the main points of Crashing in the module Networks
i understand that its better to reduce activites on the critical path..but that's about it?
How do i know which activity to reduce though? especially if costs is involved
-
If an activity costs $0 to crash, then crash it.
If an activity falls on the critical path and is within the bounds of your spending, crash it.
If an activity is outside of the critical path and won't alter the overall time/cost, do not crash it.

But how do i calculate the best option when cash is involved? as in when a table with the activity, number can reduce the activity by, cost??

If you post an example, i'll show you how to determine it.
