What year is a good starting point (relevant course material) e.g. 2005- present
Which companies set good papers for this subject?

Considering the new study design was only implemented last year, 2006-onward exams are good for practice. Aside from the VCAA exams, I'd recommend CPAP, Insight and COMPAK. They generally have a wide variety of questions in their exams.

oh yeah apparently it's just the last question that doesn't give you options anymore, thanks a lot :)

Cheers, epl - I write the CPAP one: glad you like it! ;)

I have a question regarding the use of examples to illustrate certain topics (didn't want to start a new thread). How recent do the examples need to be? Is it beneficial to have examples from 2011/2012? I have ones from 2009 onwards! Thanks

Random examples can be from any time period, but roughly since 2000 is best. If the SD says 'recent', though, like right at the end of the course with the changes, it has to be FIVE years.

Great, 2009 will be Ok then! Thank you :) Do you think a student using a more recent example would do better in terms of exam marks? Also, does it matter if your examples are ones that most other students would use (Do they have to be different from the rest of the crowd for better marks?)

In general, no and no! Quality of usage is more important, but - concession - 2009 would probably give a tiny bit better impression than 1909...!

Awesome, thank you! :D
