Title: Classification systems

How much do we need to know about the DSM etc. (e.g. do we need to know the five axes?).

Can't hurt to learn them there were no questions on last years exam about the axis but there could be this year

Yes. I think there was one question once that asked you too fill out a table labelling each axis and an example of a disorder that would fit into that axis.

There was a question from the VCAA sample questins released last year but not on the exam

I think that was the one I was referring to. I just wasn't sure where I'd seen it. If they've included it on the sample exam it's a good idea to know it.
