Has anyone done Killbaha 2009?
-
Yes, I have. What do you need help with? :)
-
So you're stuck with Module 2 Question 2a and b.
Kilbaha made a mistake with the paper and left out one of the dimensions in the question, rendering all the questions in the module from that point onwards impossible. I have done their 2011, 2009, 2008 and 2006 papers and not only are they ridiculously difficult for most Further students, but their papers are full of errors and their solutions are often incorrect. I'd be avoiding their papers from now on, if you can. Others to watch out for are iTute and NEAP, for the very same reasons. The best papers to be using for Further are VCAA exams (most questions from the old study design are still fine, by the way), MAV exams and Insight exams. Heffernan papers are a little too easy, in my opinion.
Just remember with Further that the mathematical arithmetic is not supposed to be overly involved, so if it is, I would seriously be questioning either the method you are using to solve the problem, or the paper itself. Good luck with the rest of your revision. :)

Thanks for the insight. Was a little worried when I happened to get the entire section wrong. Which dimension did they omit? They say the depth was 8m, and then say the max depth is 6m?
-
Apparently there was a 15m dimension in the solutions, which does not appear in the question. :P

What Aout the 12m, where did that come from?
...in he solutions that is
