Title: Language analysis

My tutor tells me not to analyse anecdotes and statistics, because it's not really language analysis as such.

Is this true? Ts the first I've ever heard of it...

I still do it. I talk about how the anecdotes and the statistics help sway the audience but I don't spend too much time on a statistic tbh.
