How could someone define fundamentalism and nostalgia in simple terms. Thanks in advance

Nostalgia is a desire to relive a happy memory or event in the past.

Fundamentalists take their religious texts literally and follow them strictly. Lately fundamentalism has acquired connotations of fanatical, over-zealous adherence to the scriptures.
