Title: Do you have a week off for exam prep?

Sadly, our school doesn't offer a week off for mid-year exam preparation.

Did/does yours?

I wish, we only get the usual day off before our exam.

Unfortunately, no either.

I might, however, take a few days off before the Queen's birthday weekend just to polish a few things.

Even better than a week off, we get a 5 period extended context piece THE WEEK BEFORE JUNE EXAMS! Jealous? Fuck I hate the way my school handles outcomes.

I can better that! 10 periods for a 1700+ word essay for EL starting this week. 5 to plan and 5 to write!

We were gonna have 2 methods sacs on the two-weeks prior to the mid-years but my teacher said she's gonna postpone one of them to after the midyears :O

I don't get a week off, but the Friday before Queen's Birthday I have a Report Writing Day so that means I've got 4 days off to study.

Our school doesn't get anything off, the day you finish the exam, you come straight to class after it as well

If we get a week ( or maybe even 3 days off) we would not even finish the course.

BUT SERIOUSLY, NO we get the queen's birthday which is nice......... well not really considering there weren't meant to be classes on that week anyway..............

year 11's get more break time then year 12 for their prep exams but iono how that works :S

No, and I had a lit essay due on Tuesday, ie, bio exam day.
I was like "Um, excuse me, but what do you think this is?  Just because you don't indulge in the science subjects doesn't mean that you can expect everyone to have time to do this.  What do you think mid-year exams mean?  Why do you think there are no classes during mid-year exams?"
I pestered her until she gave me the extension that I wanted.
