For question 6, about John and his room, how would you explain how his mother could use variable-ratio reinforcement, because the assessor's report says many students stated she could use variable ratio but went on to explain variable interval, which is what I did..( John not knowing when she would check his room is variable interval..)

Variable interval would be the mother decided to reinforce on 2nd, 5th , 20th days, (variable period of time between reinforcements)
Variable ratio (mother may reinforce twice a day each time room is tidy (as this is the correct) behaviour, regardless of the time period in-between each successive target response.
