There was much confusion with the very first question in that exam. Well, my classmates thought so anyway. What did you all say? I said royal assent ( but I am now nervously second-guessing every damn thing I wrote on that paper). Argh... I hate waiting for results!

Don't stress too much about it, you were most likely right because that it what the statement had 'referred' to - Royal Assent.
Good Luck! 8)

I'm guessing where most people lost marks in the exam was the extended response, VLRC, Courts and Ability, Proclamation or Royal Assent and the Court of Appeal and Trial Division question.
Legal Studies had such an ambiguous exam this year!

Good luck to you too! I agree with you. Most questions on the exam paper were extremely unclear. I hope the examiners are lenient. It was tough!

Doesn't matter, both answers would be accepted by VCAA, I got this from an assessor.
I think I was confused most by the juries question the most, I can't believe I forgot to write about structural protection in the extended, oh well, I think that's 2 marks gone. I do know that I definitely got the Supreme Court Tria/COA wrong. Just hope I got over 60 on the exam.
