Title: Advice on getting over 40 for chemistry?

Post by: Bad Student on February 12, 2013, 07:17:09 pm: You simply spend 2-3 hours a day doing questions from the Heinemann textbook, A+ notes and the ATARnotes Chemistry study guide. Making a summary of the theory and finding extra material on the internet also helps.

Good resources would be NEAP and ATARNotes guides I reckon

Dude - make sure you really understand the concepts. Chemistry is a highly conceptual, problem solving subject. Do LOTS of problems! Lots of them. Checkpoints is good, NEAP isn't bad, the AN study guide - I won't toot my own horn here :)

I learned the concepts for u4 and pulled of an A, if I did questions or prac exams it probs would've been an A+

I'll toot your horn for you ;) The AN study guide(s) for chem last year where fantastic, better than checkpoints + Neap imo. Get them :)

Oreos+pizza+chem what could possibly be better :)

I never did any of:
NEAP
ATARNotes guides
Checkpoints
T-Rex
Heinemann Textbook

Basically I just kept up with homework throughout the year, then come exam time(s) I did all the practice exams, roughly 15, that my school gave us.
Got me a 40. boom.
