Title: Haven't done VCE Bio for biomed
Post by: CCCCrystal on March 01, 2013, 08:30:30 pm
Hi everyone

Just wondering will it be much harder if I haven't done VCE biology to study biomedicine? How much of biology in uni does VCE reach to (about 50% or more?)

Am I in great disadvantages and what should I do for it!!? Do I need to read through VCE bio textbook because it's a really thick textbook..

I'm freaking out because I'm so bad at memorizing things and I afraid I won't have enough time > <

Any suggestions are appreciated, thx guys

Well given that vce Biology wasn't a prerequisite for biomed, I think that shows that you're not at a great disadvantage if you havent done it. A second year I know who didnt do bio said she just read the required pages of the textbook before every lecture so she knew what was going on, and it was fine.

They also offer additional tutorial classes for those who have not done VCE Bio so don't worry. They will also briefly go over things in lecture so they don't assume that you know too much of the background.
