Title: NREM vs REM and ALTERED STATES vs NWC (physiological)
Post by: Limista on March 14, 2013, 10:50:35 pm
Hi,

So I've put together two tables (which I used last year in fact!) on these two tricky areas which aren't usually covered clearly in school, and so people have difficulty finding enough information to write about it come SAC/ exam time.

They're detailed and to the point  :)

Heyon the same note does anyone have strengths and weaknesses for Herman Ebbinghaus' Forgetting Curve? There are none in the textbook!

^according to my notes, ebbinghaus's findings were disputed because of a lack of realism in his tests. cos he used nonsense syllables, the tests didn't account for how real life has an effect on our rate and amount of forgetting.

(notes are great btw starfish, thanks heaps)
