Title: Fast way to factorise quartics?

Post by: TrueTears on June 14, 2009, 04:50:35 pm: You should just test numbers like x = 1, -1 , 2, -2 ... But for this one there doesn't seem to be any whole numbers which can be subbed in, so it will be a calc question.
