Title: Core - data analysis

why would 3 median regression be used instead of least squares regression?
Do you think the equations of the two lines would be the same? Explain.

The least squares regression line is affected by outliers in a given data set, whereas the three-median line is not affected by outliers in a given data set. Therefore, if you have outliers in a particular data set, the equations of the two lines would be different and it would be more appropriate to use the three-median line.
