I have a few questions regarding Q8 of Chapter Review 5 in the Heinemann textbook (for those who cant be bothered looking it up in the textbook/dont have one, I have uploaded a picture).
Few things im not sure about:
-how the ground/earth connection works (does all the 'voltage' go to the ground, meaning that point is zero? wouldn't that mean the rest of the circuit does not have any voltage?)
-worked solutions say the resistance of LDR in 3Wm^-2 intensity of light is 43k ohms. How is it even 43k? Wouldn't 3 Wm^-2 = 3000mWm^-2 (the graph uses units of mWm^-2). Hence the R should be about 12k...
thanks,
