What is changed when an NMR spectrum is recorded?
A. the radio frequency
B. The magnetic field strength
The answers state B but I reckon both is possible? At least, according to TSFX notes either one varies while the other remains constant...

Surely it depends on what is meant by changed.
Ie, what is changed as the measurement progresses - so the radio frequency, as different frequencies (ie different quanta of energy) interact with different spin states on the nucleus?
Or what is changed in the sample due to the radio frequency radiation - this would be the strength of the magnetic fields?
Not entirely sure, but that's what the textbook suggests.
