So had my last SAC the other day and yeah finished unit 3, which I must say I'm pretty happy with (still waiting on the last SAC though so not partying yet), Anyway what I'm trying to say is good luck for unit 4 guys ;)
And where are your school up to? :)
-
We don't have our outcome 3 SAC for another two weeks zzzzz..
-
Has anyone moved onto U4O1, cause I've got the SAC for that in three weeks just before the end of term ><.
-
Just found out my SAC result for AOS 3, and I got 97% so I'm pretty thrilled.
BUT, unfortunately, I did pretty badly overall - 90/100 overall, so an A. ;(
SAC 1 - 17/20 = 20 marks
SAC 2 - 20/25 = 20 marks
SAC 3 - 24/25 = 20 marks
SAC 4 - 29/30 = 40 marks.
But I'm looking forward to next semester, sort of, and am hoping to ace it to get some marks back.

Last SAC for unit 3 tomorrow :D
I may have missed out on the A+ unfortunately.
SAC 1 - 17.5/20 = 17.5
SAC 2 - 22/25 = 39.5
SAC 3 - 10.5/15 = 50 marks ( :'()
SAC 4 - ??/40 = 50-90/100 marks.
A+ cut off according to the graded assessments from the past few years indicate that it'd be around 92-94. Here's hoping that my exam performance will scale it up a notch! :)

sac 1= 23/25
sac 2= 35/35
sac 3=23/25
sac 4= 2 days away.. 2 hrs long,, 65marks..
how am i looking for an A+?
-
sac 1= 25/28
sac 2=37/28
sac3=24/28
sac 4=37/40
Will i get an a or a plus for ga

Hey.
No you won't. That's only 91/100 marks. (the first three SACs are reported /20). The A+ cutoff is 93/100 marks. I'd still classify it as a "pretty much A+"
Still a very very good achievement.

dam my business teacher said you need 3 a plus to get 40 and above

as long as you are highly ranked with those scores it won't matter.
-
I think (don't quote me on this), after scaling sorts itself out, that's when your 3 A+'s generally give you a 40+ score. You could score A's in your SAC and ace the exam with a high A+, then VCAA might scale your 3/4 SAC's to A+ A+, giving you 3 A+'s and a 40+ score. If that made any sense. haha, :P
-
Finally got my last SAC results back :D Overall I finished unit 3 at 97.5/100 :DD and I'm pretty sure that gets rounded up to 98 haha now gotta not stuff up the exam and unit 4 ... haha

I think that's right, haha and it works the other way as well if you do well in SACs but shit on exam your SAC score can get scaled back ... so either way just smash the exam ok guys!!!

Awesome work!!!!! ;D It's gonna be hard to improve that for unit 4, but I'm sure you can! :)
Yeah it does work in the converse too, unfortunately :P

How are you guys coming up with your predictions?
I don't mean to be a pest but could someone tell me my predictions?:
Sac 1:24/28
Sac 2: 26/28
Sac 3:24/28
Sac 4: 37/40

You can work out what your raw mark will be for unit 3 using the 2012 grade distributions supplied by VCAA. Add up your marks and then compare your score to that of GA 1.
http://www.vcaa.vic.edu.au/Documents/statistics/2012/section3/vce_business_management_ga12.pdf
I would like to point out though, to my knowledge the exam is what has the largest bearing on your study score. So basically your exam score is what is used to standardise your sac marks and your rank will correspond to the sac score you will receive. So if you're rank one in your cohort you will receive the highest exam mark as your sac score. I wouldn't worry too much about your raw score and I would say focus on the road ahead.

Yeah, you're definitely on the road for a 40+. The A+ cutoff was 93/100, but you're just behind that so you have no worries.
Good luck
