Unsure if this is the right place to ask, didn't want to start a thread for it - my CAS (TI-nspire cx) has been trying to solve an equation for the last 30 minutes, and the little clock face has just been ticking for the entire time. It won't turn off, and short of waiting for the battery to run out, I'm not sure what to do with it. Is there anyway to force a shutdown?

Remove the batteries.

Remove the batteries.
Better yet, there's a clearly labelled reset button on the back that just made me feel like a tool. :-[
