I know there are limited place ANAT20006 and PHYS20009, but can someone give me an idea of what the numbers are like, both in terms of marks and places. Additionally does anyone know if other similar subjects (e.g. PHYS20008, ANAT30007. ANAT30008) have place restrictions.

They should have the details of # students on the handbook page for each subject.
In terms of marks i'd say an 80+ avg and you shouldn't have anything to worry about. I've heard of people getting in with like 70+ avg too.

That's what you need right there. Their entries in the handbook will give you the # of places, but I'll list them down here anyway, in order within disciplines. PHYS20008 doesn't have a quota though.
ANAT: 425, 495, 495
BCMB: 200, 90
CEDB: 110
MIIM: 80
PATH: 90, 50
PHYS: 200
I don't think high marks are required to get into the level 2 subjects, a solid H3/H2B average at least would do you good. I averaged somewhere around that and managed to get into BCMB20005, lol.

If you apply in the first round you can comfortably get in with a 60+ average for anatomy and research physiology. I know people who have failed multiple subjects but were still able to get into those two subjects.
