Just doing a practice exam, and came across a question asking 'what is the total number of ...' after being given the percentage effectiveness of 2 drugs in a back-to-back stem and leaf plot. I checked the solution, and to find the total number of people being tested using these drugs, you add the 'n' of both, after doing stat calculations in the spreadsheet for both sets of data. What does 'n' mean?

I can't really remember, but logically, seems like it would be the total number of data points.
