the area under the graph (100x10^6*0.004*0.5) gives you the answer

Oh my God... It was that fucking simple... I wanted to punch my laptop when I read that lol
But isn't that (the question) wrong though? I thought the area under a stress strain graph gave J/m^3?
So I was trying to multiply it by the length of the bone * cross sectional area and found myself with 56 -_-

Another question:
Which one of the following best gives the magnitude, in N, on the bridge by the support at point A?
A) 4.3 x 10^4 N
B) 2.9 x 10^4 N
C) 3.2 x 10^4 N
D) 4.3 x 10^5 N
I got A but the answers say D...
Also, could someone verify the above? Was I wrong in expecting it to be in J/m^-3?

i get D (63000(weight)-20250(torque)) you might have missed g somewhere?

63000 - 20250 = 42750 N (I got the exact same as you)
Wouldn't that be 4.3 x 10^4 N? (A?)

ohh yee! haha i think A too?

Haha and I'm still wondering about the graph question... But luckily structures is all multiple choice, hopefully it'll be easier to make decisions lol even if they have something off like the units
