I dont want to list persuasive techniques
e.g.like editor use of aliteration
Does anyone know list of phrases to introduce a technique withoit labelling it?

I usually just state the term or phrase and get into the connotations of it and positioning straight away.
e.g. The write states that "....". This carries a number of positive/negative connotations because..... This positions the reader to......
The writer's use of "...." and then explain.
I'm sure that if you just pick up on phrases and terms and talk about the implications and positioning of them on the reader, your assessor will know that you have identified the persuasive techniques that the writer has used. :)
