Title: Quick linear question
Post by: inneedoftherapy on October 30, 2013, 10:30:39 pm
Hey guys!
Quick Question on Linear Graphs . Sounds silly but

Was thinking about it and felt unsure,
can you have an negative value objective function ?
Say the question has the following options

a) 0
b) 30
c) 4
d) -7

and the objective function could produce that -7, would my answer be -7 or 0.....? this is if i was to minimise something (i mean it doesnt make sense but i thought, heck if you can have profit objective functions. cant you also have loss objective functions...idk?? )

Please clarify!
Thanks!
