So as the title says I don't know what I've done. In the attached picture the question I am referring to is b and it has my workings. The answers says I should've done average age = .09 x log(20,000)=27.2 rounded. Where the heck did .09 come from??

Just did the question. Your working should be correct. Must've been an error.

it doesnt seem to work on my calculator :/ is it log 10 (20000) ?

Where did you get your answers? According to itute its 27.7, not 27.2 ???

Yep VCAA... Where did the get they .09 from though?? I hope it is just VCAA otherwise I guess my calc is screwed for tomorrow...

Maybe they were using a weird method that we can't comprehend
it should just be 2.39+5.89*log10(20000) :/
