whats the method?
mass of solute required to prepare solution:
100ml of anhydrous sodium carbonate, Na2 CO3 of concentration .05000 mol /L
-
Use
n = cv
Then
m = nM
-
okay, soory i havnt used m = nM before
n is moles..
what about the rest?
m mass???
M molar mass???
-
Sorry, I can't remember when all those formulas were suppose to be learnt :P
n = moles
c = concentration in moles per litre
v = volume in litres
m = mass in grams
M = Molar mass which in this case is [2(23) + 12 + 3(16)]
Don't forget significant figures :)

yea .
sure thing
thanks !
