whats the method?

mass of solute required to prepare solution:
100ml of anhydrous sodium carbonate, Na2 CO3 of concentration .05000 mol /L

Use

n = cv

Then

m = nM

okay, soory i havnt used m = nM before
n is moles..
what about the rest?

m mass???
M molar mass???

Sorry, I can't remember when all those formulas were suppose to be learnt :P

n = moles
c = concentration in moles per litre
v = volume in litres

m = mass in grams
M = Molar mass which in this case is [2(23) + 12 + 3(16)]

Don't forget significant figures :)
