v^2=u^2+2ad solve for d
b) u=0 a= 2 d= 8 solve for v
v^2 = u^2+2ad

This question is very simple! Its a suvat problem, since, the accleration is constant
u = 20.83m/s, v = 0m/s, s = ?, a = -6m/s^2
v^2 = u^2 + 2as
0 = 434.03 - 2*6*s
s = 36.17m

b)
v = ?, u = 0, a = 2m/s^2, s = 8.0m
v^2 = 0 + 2*2*8
v = 4sqrt(2) m/s
= 5.66m/s
