If anyone is doing the 'constitutional reform recognising Indigenous Australians' for their oral, i'd love to discuss with you!

I haven't actually chosen a topic yet but I'm quite knowledgeable about Indigenous Rights and their history and I completed 3/4 Legal Studies last year so I must say this topic has grabbed my interest. Have there been any examples of the need for this change to occur in the last few months? Like protests or anything? I did a quick Google and found some petitions and news articles so I think this could have some potential.

Yeah I learned that one in depth last year in Legal Studies and even used it in my exam so I'm already knowledgeable about it. My notes are still around on it as well.

Perhaps you should do the same topic then!
The topic itself has adequate info, check our recognise.org.au
My oral is sort of all over the place but what do you suggest I speak about mainly? perhaps 3 key arguments?

Yeah I like this topic, its something different and I would never have thought about doing it. 3 main arguments would be good, maybe a minor rebuttal but I can't think about any opposition to this topic at the moment... I think its about 5 minutes+ for speech length so it should be easy to reach. Perhaps we could just swap ideas through private message and update this thread with some good developments or points if it could benefit others?
