For VCE Chemistry Units 3 and 4
What is the best textbook, in the views or furrent users, and past users of these texts?

what about in terms of theory is the best
and in terms in of questions, is the best

Heinemann for questions, not too sure about theory. From my experience, Heinemann's good for theory if you've got a basic understanding from somewhere else first. It's not the greatest at explaining, but its got more detail than the other textbooks as far as I can tell. Never really found a textbook with good basic explanations though, but I only went through Nelson and Heinemann anyway. Your teacher should hopefully give you enough of a foundation to use Heinemann though.

Completely agree there.  I think that's why most schools use Heinemann.  I use Jacaranda and Heinemann.  I sue the Heinemann for questions and Jacaranda for cross-reference with the theory.

ahahah, yea okay then
because our school, yea uses the heinemann
soo JUST incase, if there were any problems with it,
then i just wanted to know if anything was better

If you want an alternative to Heinemann, Jacaranda and Science Dimensions are pretty good.  However, I've heard the opposite from Nelson...
