I know one type of hybrid, i'm sure someone else would give more detailed explanation on other ones too.
But briefly, i think the easiest hybrid is creative/expository. So.. you start off with a creative opening(like an anecdote etc.) then you weave your way into exploring the prompt.

what do you mean 'exploring the prompt'?
