Title: Need tips for image language analysis

I tend to have no problems analysing articles, but when it comes to images, I'm a stunned mullet.


Any advice?

Look at SPACE in an image, what are the dominant colours, what is the overall impression... why? Are there any puns/external references?

Often images have captions: which pieces of language does language from this caption reinforce in the text? How?

The image can be interwoven into analysis of the article or dealt with separately. If you have any more questions - keep them coming!
