Hey,
Just wonder what everyone thinks this year exam will be like, do you think it will be hard, easy?
-
I doubt it will be as hard as last years, but otherwise you can't really make a lot of assumptions from previous exams.
(but if there's no normal distribution stuff again I might cry)
-
1 second let me hop into my time machine
ok awesome. tell me when you get back, few answers would also be nice
-
Why? I thought they would omit normal distribution since most schools learn that last so they would assume most students would know it well/therefore not assessing it.
I recond they will go easy on the integration considering there was 2 integration questions on exam 2 that screwed everyone over. or they might just re-do it and screw everyone over again :P
Because statistical inference <3 (although it's not really statistical inference, its the closest methods is going to get until the new study design... :P)
Plus, last year seemed to be the odd one out - I remember looking through past years and normal distributions appeared in either extended response or short answer in all of them, and then last year it just wasn't in there at all... :\
Nah - if people do crap, they generally tend to keep those questions. That's the reason why we seem to see similar triangle questions all the time. I reckon both of those types will appear on the exam again, but they might be on calc 2 instead of calc 1 so they don't get people trying to integrate by parts (which I may or may not have done...)

It's gonna be really, REALLY hard and methods will scale up to 52 once again
didn't happen to get a copy while you were there? 50 here i come

This thread is great for procrastination but not so useful for anything else. Study hard instead fellas :)
