Title: Going into 3/4 methods
Post by: JackSonSmith on August 22, 2014, 10:37:20 pm
What topics in Methods 1/2 are most relevant to 3/4? Also are the Cambridge checkpoints worth getting?

Every topic in methods 1/2 is relevant to 3/4 (unless you school decides to do combinatorics [as some schools do]). In fact, 3/4 and 1/2 methods are almost identical (and with the new study design coming in, they're going to become even more identical).

Checkpoints is alright. I never tried 1/2, but 3/4 seemed pretty useful in that it had some extra questions. However, 3/4 checkpoints is made up mostly of past exam questions, so it basically just serves as a nice little alternative to staring at exams on your computer screen.
