As every year 12 VCE student should know, we have an upcoming English exam. I need help with preparing, because I don't know where to start. Can anyone give me tips on how to prepare myself? :-\ :D

Language analysis is pretty easy to prepare for, here's a great book with lots of 10/10 examples on various different articles/letters etc.

Thought this might be good thread for me to ask a question on the English exam.
Are we allowed to consult dictionaries during reading time? If so, is it against exam rules to fold the dictionary pages (so you don't have to look up the words again) during reading time?

Yes, you are able to use dictionary during reading time, it's like a maths exam, you can refer to the formula sheet. As to the folding pages of your dictionary, just don't. Any folding, denting with nails on page is too dangerous to risk for being unable to sit the exam just to save 20 seconds to find a definition.
