Hey guys!
Now that biology is over (yay) I have 5 free periods per week and I am doing units 3+4 physics next year with no prior knowledge of units 1+2. I have spoken to next years teacher and also borrowed the textbook from the library and have looked through it, it looks pretty straight forward so far. Is there any tips/advice you can give on the major topics/concepts I should be looking into for a head start to next year? Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks in advance! :D

you can definitely do 3 and 4 without having done 1 and 2, i did 1 and 2 but never focused in class and never did the work, only started focusing in year 12 and its fine.

Definitely possible. There's only really motion for 1/2 that's "important" and largely "relevant" to unit 3/4. I think there might be a bit of the electricity stuff but i think what your school should cover in year 10 science on electricity will be enough foundation.
With that being said, if you wish to do well/feel a bit more comfortable, learn the motion section of unit 1/2 (it re-covered again right at the start of 3/4 so just learn the concepts from your unit 3/4 book :p)

Definitely do-able! Use the textbook and the internet to get your head around the following, for the best start next year;
Motion:
- Vectors and Scalars and the differences,
- Forces, Displacement/Velocity/Acceleration,
- Constant Acceleration questions in one dimension
Electronics:
- Voltage (drop), emf, potential difference, how they're the same and how they're different
- Current and resistance and doing circuit questions with series/parallel wires and any combination of resistors
Everything else should be introduced/reintroduced in year 12
