Hey guys,
Some of you may be interested in applying for the Bachelor of Environments and may want to pursue your studies in architecture, urban planning, engineering, construction etc.? If you have any questions about this course, particularly if you've recently finished year 12 , I'm more than happy to help you out!
By the way, I will be in my third year of this course, majoring in Civil Engineering :)

Hi,
If I do enrol in Bachelor of Environments and plan to major in Civil Engineering, are my choices in environmental electives important?
Secondly, are certain breadth subjects in first year necessary, given that I've only completed 3/4 Methods without Specialist? Thanks :)

Hi,
To answer your first question, yes your choices will become important. Some of the first year environments elective subjects are prerequisites to the second year engineering subjects. For example, you are required to do the first year subject Structural Environments in order to progress into the second year subject Engineering Materials.
Yes, for your case you will be required to enrol into Calculus 1, Calculus 2 and Linear Algebra as your breadth subjects ( These subject are prerequisites to the second and third year engineering subjects).
Hope this helps :)
