Going to a methods lecture, but have no idea how to get (by public transport) to:
Lecture Theatre 1 (B117), Melbourne School of Design Building, The University of Melbourne
I'm bad enough with public transport in my own area as it is, so thought I should probably get some instructions before i do
Thanks in advance! :)

Not sure which suburb you're coming from, but the simplest way would be to catch a train to Melb. Central Station, then catch any tram travelling up Swanston St. (away from Flinders St.) The Melb Uni stop is a big one, so you can't miss it. It's the end of the line for most of the trams anyway.
The building you're looking for is this thing:

It's pretty much right in the middle of campus, so just walk North-West-ish once you get off the tram. I think someone posted a map before so I'll see if I can find that.
edit: here you go! http://maps.unimelb.edu.au/parkville/building/133

You are a gem!!!! Can't thank you enough :)

Just to add, lostoncampus (an iPhone/Web app with a really good map of the campus) is a great help, though I doubt it has the MSD building fully up to date yet as it was only opened late last year.
