I think subjects that are of interest to you would be more likely to give you a higher GPA. Take a look through the handbook of the different breadth subject, and see which appeals to you the most in terms of subject content & assessment format.
I think for semester 1 of your first year of uni you need to take a level 1 breadth. For other levels, I have heard good things about these subjects:
Music and Health
Music Psychology
Sports coaching
Deafness and Communication
AUSLAN and Visual Communication
Living Longer: A global diagnosis
An Ecological History of Humanity

This is completely none of my business but does Pass/Fail units contribute to GPA, and if they do, how?

If I recall correctly, they aren't counted. However, say you did them with 3 other subjects your GPA would be just based off those 3 subjects - so it works both ways I guess :P

Fina20026. I've never heard of a single person not getting a h1 in that subject.
