Title: Physics question

An 80kg tourist absorbs a gamma radiation dose of 200 μGy.

a. Calculate the dose equivalent that has been recieved
b. Determine the amount of radiation energy that has been absorbed

Can someone please explain how to get to the answer?

It's just a matter of using the exposure measurement equations.

a. Dose equivalent is the absorbed dose multiplied by the quality factor (look it up, it should vary with type of radiation)

b. Grays are simply another way of stating Joules of radiation energy per kg. (Gy=J/Kg). Rearrange the equation and you'll have your answer.
