According to this page here How to Predict your own Study Score - A Guide i need a low A+ to get a 39+ in the exam.
According to here http://www.vcaa.vic.edu.au/Documents/statistics/2013/section3/vce_further_mathematics_ga13.pdf
A low A+ is 37/40 and 51/60 both exams
So i can only afford to lose 12 marks total in both exams to get a 39+?
Is that correct or am i missing something?

Yeah that's about right. It's tough out there in the world of further maths. Also sac ranking and school cohort play an affect on the study score

Yep. Further is brutal. You really need to dominate the exam to get a 40+ in Further.
