Title: Special consideration for supplementary exam?
Post by: tintah on July 23, 2015, 02:43:29 pm
Has anyone ever applied for special consideration for an exam during the special exam period?

I missed an exam in the normal exam period due to personal circumstances and was awarded special consideration however i've gotten severly ill during the special exam period.

Just wondering if anyones applied for special consideration twice and what the outcomd was?

Hi there,
I did my supplementary exam in July this year.
However I have no idea if you could do twice of supplementary exam, you should seek help from the student centre ASAP.
Otherwise you might loss marks for the last assessment probably.
Hope these helped.

Hey,

I had a friend who was hospitalized during the normal exam period and then again during the special exam period a while back. I am pretty sure that the exam was just rescheduled again. So it should be okay - provided you qualify for it again and have all the necessary documentation etc. I don't know if it would have any impact on your ability to enrol in subjects for this semester though (that need this particular one as a pre-req).

I agree that you should contact your student centre ASAP.

Goodluck!
