Title: Minimum exam scores for 30 in methods?
Post by: BakedDwarf on September 22, 2015, 08:09:45 pm
So, currently i'm like ranked ~3/25 in an extremely weak maths methods cohort. My sac average is about 90% but it would mostly likely scale down to approximately 50-60%. (this is my fifth subject and hence I do not really care, just as long as i get a reasonably respectable SS)

Assuming that my sac average does scale down to 50%, what minimum score do I need for exam 1 and exam 2 to get a minimum 30 ss?

On the very few practice exams i've done, i've averaged around 30/40 for exam 1 and 59/80 for exam 2.

With those exam marks, you should be able to get over 30+.

On the vcaa graded distributions there's a mean score, that'll correlate to a 30. Just look at the required score for each year and you'll be able to somewhat predict your ss.

Go a bit higher than the mean in terms of expectations because you don't really want to fall short of pre req :)
