Title: how hard to get a 10-15+ study score?
Post by: DeezNuts on October 03, 2015, 11:25:13 pm
Hi guys! First off I hope your all going well in your preparations, as I know it is getting quite tense as we approach the exams, but we will push through in the end :)

Currently I am doing quite well in all my other subjects, but neglected Methods throughout the year and just focused on my other subjects. I was curious as to what I would get for it, considering I am ranked probably at the very (hopefully not the bottom lol) bottom of my cohort in terms of SACs. Say I got something really bad for the exams as well (E or something like that), what study score can I expect?

This is because I've heard it is quite hard to get below 10 as a study score (like getting a 50 lel), so as long as it stays double digit I'll be happy hahah

thanks guys and good luck :)

A guy I knew last year from my school failed all his methods sacs (as far as I know) and attempted to cheat by scabbing a few multiple choice question answers from the people around him. Needless to say, the study score of 14 he received was a true indicator of both his sac scores and his exam mark (which was most likely around the E+ to D range). However, your own study score depends on other factors such as the strength of your cohort as a whole and the difficulty of your sacs. Having more difficult sacs and a stronger cohort could potentially lead to your sac scores being scaled up at the end of the year while on the other end of the spectrum, having easier sacs and a weaker cohort could see your sac scores being scaled down to 'compensate' for the schools around the state which have suffered through more difficult sacs.

You can get a 15 study score by guessing C for all your multiple choice (apart from the ones you know) and cramming the night before.
Because a 15 study score is the bottom two% and every year there's 1-2% of people who don't even guess m.cs
Voila, profit
