Just wondering which year is harder between second and third years.
I have just finished first year, and I'm thinking about maybe taking 3 breadth this year to lighten the load for third year, but I'm not entirely sure.
Another factor is I'll most likely be taking the GAMSAT in both second (and third year if I need to).

If you're applying for medicine, and considering a summer subject or similar then do three subjects in semester one of third year.
I think the difficulty depends on what major you choose and how difficult you find it. I think I found the years to be about the same but the content in third year was definitely significantly more advanced.

Damn, is M2M more time consuming that FIB? Was considering underloading in second sem with Advanced Techniques

Yeah, M2M is more time consuming than FIB.

Third year had a lot more detail you needed to remember.
FIB is that subject nobody spends any time on (because it's so frustrating) whereas M2M is acknowledged as a pretty hard subject you need to work a lot on.

And first semester of 3rd year heavily influences GPA, whereas 2nd semester grades aren't as important for post-grad applications.

I.E. Third year is harder than second.
