Hi guys,
So i'm currently constructing summary notes for chapter 2 in psychology , at the end of the chapter there is section on meditation ,but it says its not explicitly mentioned in the study design. For those of you have done psychology previously was it covered in any sacs or exams .

If it is not on the SD, it won't be on the exam. It is good to know though since it is an example you can bring up in the exam.

Is this for Unit 3? Meditation is not explicitly covered :) It used to be covered as a type of Altered state of consciousness in Unit 3 but now VCAA have only specified that students study about Daydreaming and Alcohol-induced state in relation to the concepts underlying states of consciousness (i.e. time orientation, self control, etc).
Meditation (or more specifically, meditation/relaxation) is covered briefly in Unit 4 - as it is studied as a particular strategy to reduce stress in individuals :)

While I remember reading about it briefly in the textbook, I don't recall seeing anything about it specifically in SACs or exams.
